I'm currently working on some new stuff for my Robin Hood story. I have a new production painting and some updates on the characters I want to finish during the next 2 weeks. I begin another quarter teaching at AI and my Mt. SAC gig is just around the corner about the time that Academy of Art begins again.
By the way I'm slated for Creature Design and Clothed Figure Drawing. I'm not thrilled by the latter because I've done so much of it. Either way it seems like it will pair well with Creature Design. The creature class is done by this guy named Jarred Fajardo. He hasn't been out of school too long and this is always a concern of mine. He's only been in industry for a few years (I think) and I wasn't impressed with his work but I am impressed by my classmate Bonnie Pang's work she did in it. So, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't expect him to be as good as Jennifer Oliver (Character Design) or Robert Caple (Layout Design) so we will certainly see next month.
